About Patrons & Farmers Mutual

Founded in 1877 and built on neighbors helping neighbors, Patrons & Farmers Mutual of Missouri continues to protect property owners across the state with trusted local service.

Our Story

Patrons & Farmers was chartered in 1877 and incorporated on January 30, 1896, as Patrons and Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Cass County.

On August 21, 2006, the company merged with Farmers Mutual Insurance Company of Lee's Summit. The surviving company was renamed Patrons and Farmers Mutual of Missouri.

We began by helping area farmers recover from wind and fire losses and have grown to serve homeowners, renters, mobile homeowners, manufactured home owners, and landlords throughout Missouri.
